The Neuro Practice is an established private Neurological Allied Health Practice serving Bendigo and regional Victoria.  Due to progressive growth in the practice and the introduction of the NDIS to our region we are seeking a dynamically motivated Senior Physiotherapist and Senior Occupational Therapist. The positions are open to therapists who have a desire to focus their career in the Neurological field and enjoy working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals. Applicants seeking a part-time opportunity will also be considered. . Starting date negotiable.

The services offered:

  • Physiotherapy assessment, management and education
  • OT assesment, management and education
  • Tailored home exercise programs
  • Community hydrotherapy
  • Community gymnasium programs
  • Prescription of walking aids and home modifications
  • Equipment provision
  • Carer training in conjunction with the community based allied health team

Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists at the practice assist with the management of the following conditions:

  • Acquired/Traumatic brain injury
  • Paediatrics
  • Stroke
  • All Neurological based disorders including Parkinsons Disease and Multiple Sclerosis
  • Spinal Cord injury
  • Vestibular dysfunction
  • Falls and balance related conditions
  • Pain Management
  • General debility/decline of function

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified APHRA registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
  • Certificate of Currency for PI/PL Insurance
  • Valid Police Check
  • Recent experience gained in a rehabilitation services provider setting desirable
  • Proficient skills in assessment and report writing
  • Ability to provide high quality and outcome focused intervention aimed to achieve set goals
  • Excellent communication/negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Current Victorian drivers licence and own vehicle

Pay is dependent on experience and performance, with ALL applications considered. A travel allowance is available. A company Smartphone is provided. We are committed to CPD and as a result offer the successful candidate an annual CPD allowance upon application.
