Gen Health Hamilton are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic qualified Podiatrist to compliment the team of professionals and service the increased demand within the region. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn from two experienced podiatrists, share knowledge and collaborate with four full time physiotherapists and have access to team based fortnightly professional development and various upskilling opportunities with the option for supervision/mentorship.

The ideal candidate will be seeking a team environment, be highly enthusiastic with an interest in community events and possess a passion for furthering their career. They must also be personally and professionally aligned with the organisations values (Service, Proactivity, Empathy Affinity and Knowledge).
You will encounter a mixed caseload of musculoskeletal, biomechanics and orthotics, paediatrics, footwear fitting and prescription (specialist range), nail care/surgery and diabetes care. Ages will range from 2 – 100 years old with teenagers/adolescents and middle age demographic your most common patients. Patients seen are a mix of private and funded care through RPC, DVA, NDIS, Workcover and TAC.
A team focused fortnightly physiotherapy and podiatry professional development session will be/is offered to all Gen Health Hamilton employees. Practioners will typically rotate presenting cases, or topics of interest for discussion and mentoring of others, enhancing the shared model approach. Furthermore you will have access to 2 x one hour individualised professional development sessions per week to new graduate podiatrists. In addition you will have access to $1000 per year to spend on professional development.
Gen Health Hamilton is a modern, collaborative approach private practice dissimilar to any other allied health clinic within the region. Combing physiotherapy, podiatry, a footwear niche and clinical pilates, Gen Health has revolutionised patient outcomes.
The facilities consist of a freshly renovated clinic with four clinical treatment rooms: 2 set up solely for physiotherapy, 1 for podiatry and 1 multipurpose (physio/pod).
A large open plan clinical pilates studio also exists, with 8 DMA reformers (inc. 2 x trapformer), floor space, and a treadmill with TV screen and ipad for gait analysis. You will have access to digital scanning orthotic prescription , with Footworks orthotic laboratory. A separate orthotic modification area has been recently developed.

separate staff room/practioners admin/resource area
optional outdoor setting for practioners to enjoy
Programs used within practice are Cliniko for bookings and Physitrack for setting homer exercises for patients. Slack will be utilised for team communication with the aim to revert to a paperless business within the short term future. Additional to the above, ALL practitioners will receive admin support for the current skilled clinical receptionists inclusive of instruments sterilisation and treatment room preparation.
