This is an opportunity to supplement your income and become part of a leading private day hospital group. This facility requires a Specialist Gastroenterologist for 2 sessions per week. You must be a patient-focussed physician and an interest in IBD is desirable.
The private group has 17 years of experience in managing hospital facilities and specialist practices. They will provide everything you need to get started in private practice. Their objective is to make your life easier by taking care of the day to day administration of your practice and making sure you have ticked all of the essential boxes to catapult your practice to the height of success.

This Day Hospital facility provider operates one of Queensland's largest gastroenterology practices, an open access endoscopy service, as well as practice managing around 25 Specialist Doctors.
Their years of experience in operating day hospitals means that both patients and doctors are provided with exceptional service. As a Specialist, you are provided with an environment that allows you to focus on your role, with confidence in the nursing staff around you.
Their reputation in the area of endoscopy is well-known (having provided over 100,000 procedures), and they have grown their business into a well-regarded provider of services in urology, cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, IVF, general surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, ENT, pain management and gynaecology.
This facility is located in the heart of Brisbane's western suburbs and every year provides treatment to over 6,000 patients. On-site specialists include both gastroenterologists and general surgeons. The group are in the planning and design phase of a new hospital to replace this facility and to grow from two procedure rooms to 4 theatres.
The hospital comprises of:
- 2 procedure rooms
- 2 pre-operative beds
- 5 first stage recovery beds
- A suite for 5 patients in second stage recovery
- 4 consulting rooms
