Our client is an acute referral hospital of 260 beds on the North Coast of NSW. Currently undergoing redevelopment, the hospital is the recognized Trauma Centre for the North Coast Region and is linked to a local helicopter retrieval service.

Temporary full time position for 2017 & 2018 Clinical Year.
 
The successful applicant will have a commitment to working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and be looking to gain further experience in a busy regional hospital.  
 
The hospital is an affiliated teaching hospital for medical students from NSW and QLD, and has a strong commitment to teaching and support for its JMOs.
 
Location:
The hospital is situated between World Heritage listed rainforest and the pristine beaches of Evans Head, Ballina, Lennox Head and Byron Bay. This area is blessed by year round sun, a tropical climate and a short winter.  From lush hinterland villages, to Mount Warning, national parks, and sparkling beaches, the region is full of natural wonders and vibrant destinations all within a short drive .

Essential Requirement:
• A degree in Medicine from a recognised tertiary institution (MBBS or equivalent qualification) and Registered or Registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). 
• Demonstrated current competency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology including management of obstetric emergencies
