The Organisation:

Excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join an aged care facility. The aged care facility provides a mobile Physiotherapy service for ageing population and is proud to offer comprehensive Physiotherapy services for residential and community care across Tasmania.

The Role:

This role would suit a physiotherapist with ability to build rapport with elderly patients and is empathetic and compassionate towards them and their families.

In providing Physiotherapy services to an aged care facility, you will work with structured support from Transform senior staff as a Physiotherapist and represent the Physiotherapy profession by being an integral part of the operation of the aged care facility. Work within your facilities will be guided by Site and Service Managers. 

To be successful for this role you will have:

• Minimum of relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Dedication to delivering high standards of care
• General AHPRA registration

Key Responsibilities:

• Exercise and equipment prescription and pain management treatment
• Provide Physiotherapy education and training to facility staff as required
• Resident Documentation
• ACFI claims as appropriate
