Allied Health Assistant
Keep Moving Health Group is an allied health practice based in Frenchs Forest on Sydney's Northern Beaches known for our professional, holistic and client centred approach.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full, part-time or casual Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our team based in Frenchs Forest and work with clients in the community across Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore.
The successful applicant will be be studing some area of allied health, whether that be at University or Tafe and ideally have prior experience, however new graduates and students are welcome to apply. We offer genuinely flexible work practices, a friendly and supportive team and the opportunity to really make this role your own.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting ongoing evidence-based treatments as perscribed by a physiotherapist or occupational therapist to a variety of clients and conditions.
- Running evidence-based group exercise classes in our gym.
- Treating our patients in their own homes as well as in a gym/rehabilitation setting in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.
- Producing thorough and accurate documentation and reports regarding the client's progress with the program.
- Liaising with clients and their families, service providers and our allied health team.
About You
- You will be a friendly, warm, and outgoing person with an ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and enthusiasm to quickly build a strong rapport with clients and third parties.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - well-presented and confident with clients, referrers, and colleagues
- Excellent time management skills
- Self-starter, able to demonstrate initiative and work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to be hands on across the business

What we Need From You?
- Proof of study in the field of Allied Health or similar
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Current National Criminal History Check
- COVID-19 + Annual Flu Vaccination (required by our partners)
