Responsibilities:

As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing community-based behaviour support to NDIS participants. You’ll conduct functional assessments, craft and lodge interim and comprehensive PBSPs via PRODA, and train staff and carers in their implementation. By monitoring outcomes, refining strategies to minimise restrictive practices, and producing clear reports for plan reviews, you’ll build each participant’s capacity while upholding NDIS quality standards. 

Requirements:

• Hold an NDIS practitioner identification number
• 1-2 years of experience in behaviour support
• Relevant qualifications in social work or a related field
• Strong commitment to person-centered approach
• Demonstrated high standard of ethical practice
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
• NDIS Worker’s screening check and Vic Working with Children’s Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Infection Control Training
• NDIS Workers Orientation Certificate
