Working closely with the Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will contribute to the provision of a range of clinical neuropsychology services to inpatients and outpatients of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Striving to achieve better health outcomes for patients and their families, you will respond to requests for neuropsychological assessments and interventions, and initiate reviews where appropriate. You will administer and analyse neuropsychological tests and other relevant investigations, making recommendations regarding the rehabilitation of patients with cognitive impairment. You will also educate clients and other relevant persons on the brain-behaviour relationship. As part of your role, you may design, implement and assist with clinical research projects as appropriate. The Royal Adelaide Hospital is South Australia’s largest trauma hospital, and offers a diverse complex clinical presentation and supportive work environment. Working for us you will have the opportunity to increase and develop your knowledge and skills within a sophisticated healthcare environment.

With experience in multidisciplinary teamwork, you will be capable of performing clinical neuropsychology assessments and providing feedback to patients and their families. High level interpersonal skills will be essential, along with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
