Clinical Nurse Specialist - Palliative Care

The Team: 

The Specialist Palliative Care Service North West is a collaborative multidisciplinary team working across acute, community and aged care facilities to support palliative clients and their families.  As a consultative service, the team provides support to patients, families and clinicians.  With a focus on delivering excellent healthcare and supporting the wishes and comfort of the patient in the community.  

The Role:

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will support patients and their carers in their palliative journey, assisting with symptom management and end of life planning, you will provide education and support for families and clinicians working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed date.

Salary: $106,570 to $112,440 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: 

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type 

Salary Packaging:
