• Assist oral surgeons and dentists during surgical procedures, including extractions, implant placements, and soft tissue management
• Prepare and maintain sterile instrument sets and surgical trays, adhering to infection control standards
• Provide efficient chairside assistance, suctioning, retraction, instrument exchange, and patient monitoring
• Take radiographs as authorised, and assist with scans or digital imaging workflows
• Prepare patients for treatment, explain steps, and support post-operative instructions and comfort
• Maintain accurate clinical records, logs, and instrument tracking
• Ensure stock levels, sterilisation procedures, and equipment maintenance are upheld

• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent)
• 3–6 years’ demonstrable experience in oral surgery or surgical support within a dental practice
• High standard of infection control and sterilisation knowledge
• Current Australian residency status (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to work under pressure
• Current CPR certificate and up-to-date immunisations

• Experience with implant procedures and advanced surgical setups
• Comfortable with digital imaging systems and practice management software
• Professional presentation, punctuality, and a collaborative attitude
