Dental Assistant

We're seeking a dedicated dental assistant to join our expanding team. You will be working within our prestigious practice in Kedron , alongside our Principal Dentist to offer innovative & comprehensive care to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate proficiency in chairside assisting, sterilisation procedures, and basic reception tasks.

Responsibilities:

Chairside assisting during dental procedures, including implant placements, restorative procedures and general dentistry.

Proficiently handle sterilisation procedures to ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Perform reception tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls. 

Assist the dentist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.

Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care and support the overall success of the practice.

Requirements:

Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification, desired, however, not mandatory. 

Proven experience as a dental assistant, desired however, not mandatory. 

Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilisation methods.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with dental practice management software - EXACT, D4W etc.
