Full-Time or Casual Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant

We are seeking a Full-Time or Casual Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team at Ashgrove West Dental.

About the Role

This is an all-rounder position combining front desk coordination with dental assisting duties as required, while also developing the skills needed to progress into greater responsibility. Due to the nature of the role, we are seeking a candidate who is available from Monday-Friday and is able to work up to 38 hours per week. Although this role is predominantly based at our Ashgrove clinic, applicants willing to travel periodically to our sister practices in Brisbane will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing exceptional patient service in person and over the phone

Front desk and reception duties

Managing appointment bookings, recalls, and payments

Chairside assisting

Sterilisation and equipment setup

Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of two busy practices

Assisting with workflow, organisation and team support across both sites

Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, professional, and reliable

Confident communicating with patients in person and over the phone

Organised, proactive, and able to use initiative

Able to work well in a busy team environment and has enviable work ethic

Available to work Saturday mornings (if Casual)

Holds a current driver’s licence and has reliable transport

Experience in dental reception or dental assisting is highly desirable, but not essential.
