Job Description

Woden Dental Care is looking for a genuine and positive Dental Assistant on Casual/Part time basis, who is committed to providing excellent patient experience in a friendly and relaxed environment. Woden Dental Care has been established for over 20 years. We are providers in general and children dentistry, CEREC, Sedation, dentures, and are a trusted name among our local clientele for our excellent service and modern facilities

Previous dental experience is highly regarded; however, training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

We are looking for someone who is:

Flexible and proactive in a busy practice setting

Professional and compassionate when dealing with patients

Key Responsibilities
Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner

Managing appointments, phone calls, emails, and patient records

Processing payments and handling general reception duties

Assisting clinicians during dental procedures

Preparing treatment rooms and dental materials

Maintaining accurate clinical records as directed by the dentist

Cleaning, sterilising, and reprocessing instruments according to infection control protocols

Monitoring and maintaining stock supplies

Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice

Applicants must provide at least one telephone referee who can speak about their reliability, punctuality, work ethic, and ability to work within a team.

Employment Details
Casual position leading to permanent part time or full after 3 months for right candidate. We are looking for long term commitment.

Pay rate: $28 – $36 per hour (depending on experience)
