Enrolled Nurse

About the role

The Enrolled Nurse at Temora Hospital delivers high-quality, patient-centred care, working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients. In this rural setting, you will play a vital role in assessing, implementing and evaluating care, while supporting patients and their families across all stages of their healthcare journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across a diverse rural caseload, supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. 
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in partnership with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team. 
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, ensuring timely escalation and safe clinical decision-making. 
• Support smooth transitions of care, including discharge planning and coordination with community and external services. 
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture while upholding safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a rural health setting. 
• Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level.

Candidates will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse  
• Demonstrated clinical skills in assessing patient needs and contributing to care planning and delivery Sound knowledge of patient safety, quality and risk, with a commitment to evidence based practice and continuous improvement.  
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution. 
• Current Class C Driver Licence and a paid NSW Working With Children Check 
• Australian Work Rights (sponsorship is not considered for this role)
