The Community Rehabilitation offers both home and centre based therapy. The Exercise Physiologist works closely with the interdisciplinary community rehabilitation team to provide a therapy program that is both holistic and client centred. This position provides the opportunity to work with autonomy, be creative and deliver a high quality exercise physiology services.
Part time - 45.6 hours a fortnight
The Grade 3 Community Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist is responsible for working within the multidisciplinary team to provide best practice patient care, achieve maximal operational effectiveness, develop organisational competencies, and create strong partnerships within and outside Monash Health in collaboration with the Head of Profession and Stream/Team Leaders. You will provide a high standard of client assessment, treatment and coordination of services to patients, to facilitate safe, effective, and person centred care. You will be responsible for the supervision and clinical governance of Exercise Physiologists in Community Rehabilitation.
This position may be required to work at any of the Monash Health sites and may be centre based or home based.
What you need:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) or Equivalent
- Post Graduate qualification in Exercise Rehabilitation
- Well consolidated clinical experience (minimum 7 years).
- Current drivers licence
