Experienced GP

We are seeking experienced and dedicated doctors to join our high-demand clinical environment at our Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.

If you are currently working locally and seeking flexible additional work, we encourage you to apply. We are not looking for GPs to leave their current roles, but rather to join our team in a supportive, additional capacity within our fast-paced, Emergency Department–style Urgent Care environment, assisting the community.

Hours of Operation

• 7 days per week: 7:30am – 7:30pm (shifts may be 6 or 12 hours)
• From 1 July: 7 days per week, 7:00am – 9:00pm (shifts may be 7 or 14 hours)

Remuneration

• $220/hour (Weekdays)
• $250/hour (Weekends & Public Holidays)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing acute, walk-in urgent care presentations
• Treating minor injuries and time-sensitive conditions
• Performing procedures within urgent care scope
• Making independent clinical decisions within an established framework
• Working within a consistent and high-volume patient flow environment

Requirements

• Specialist registration with AHPRA as a VR GP
• Confidence managing acute presentations independently
• Ability to work in a higher-volume clinical setting
• Strong communication skills
• Previous Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience (beneficial)
• ALS 1 & 2, or currently enrolled in training
