Job title: FT/PT Permanent Aged Care Physiotherapist

Working Hours: 4 to 5 days/week

Salary: Up to $100K per annum plus superannuation

Location: Neutral Bay

Roles & Responsibilities:

Our client is passionate about working in aged care and strives towards improving the quality of life for all residents. 

As a Physiotherapist, you will provide treatments including pain management, manual therapies and exercise prescription. These programs are tailored to residents' individual needs, helping to reduce pain and optimize strength, mobility and physical independence.

The ideal candidate will display the following characteristics:

• Can work individually and within a multi-disciplinary team setting
• Can work closely with the facility clinical team to assist with ACFI claims
• Can develop and evaluate patient care plans, and formulate functional health assessments for new residents
• Can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as concise, professional documentation
• Can provide pain management treatments
• Can implement falls prevention strategies
• Can complete falls reviews, mobility reviews, initial assessments and general physiotherapy reviews to a high degree
• Annual CPD financial support provided

Essential Criteria:

• Is passionate about delivering high-quality care to aged-care residents
• Is respectful of resident confidentiality, rights, cultural beliefs, and privacy
• Understanding of working with elderly residents in a residential care setting
• AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist with tertiary qualifications required
• Current Police Check (National Police Certificate)
• Only applications from Australian residents or with a valid working Visa with AHPRA registration are being sought at this time
