Swan Podiatry and Orthotics is a small, personal and busy private practice based in Darwin, Northern Territory. Swan Podiatry services include biomechanics assessments and gait analysis, nail surgeries, diabetic care, general foot treatment in Darwin and Katherine.

We are searching for a driven Podiatrist to join our practice, working across our two clinics in Darwin and Katherine. Full time or part time available. New Graduates welcome to apply.

Position requirements:
- Bachelor of Podiatry and current AHPRA registration
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children’s check
- National Police Check
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle, with preparedness to travel to satellite clinics
- Assess and diagnose and treat conditions related to the foot, ankle and lower limb
- Perform biomechanical assessments and gait analysis
- Confidence in prescribing, fitting, and reviewing custom-made orthotics
- Perform diabetic foot assessment
- Provide general foot care including partial nail avulsion surgery
- Maintain accurate and up to date clinical notes
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with Indigenous patients
- Competent in HICAPS terminal transactions and billing through online Medicare and DVA portals
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a small team

The successful applicant must:
- Provide evidence based podiatric treatment to the highest possible standard
- Carry out assessment, diagnosis, treatment and education to patients where applicable, including present and foreseeable issues
- Maintain ethical and professional standards at all times
- Maintain appropriate sterility standards within clinical workspace
- Be personable and build rapport with client base
