General Practice Nurse

We are a friendly and dedicated team at a small, community-focused medical clinic, and we’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join us in providing exceptional patient care. This is a part-time or flexible role, ideal for someone seeking work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments.
• Prepare patient care plans in collaboration with the GP.
• Administer vaccinations, immunizations, and IV infusions.
• Perform wound care, ECGs, spirometry, and pathology collection.
• Assist with minor procedures and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
• Support chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives.
• Assist with patient education and community health promotion activities.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in a general practice or hospital setting (highly desirable).
• Skilled in immunizations, vaccinations, and IV administration.
• Knowledge of clinical standards, infection control, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with clinical software (e.g., Best Practice or similar) preferred.
