About Hervey Bay:

Hervey Bay is a rapidly growing seaside town with a population of about 60,000 people. It’s the whale watching capital of Queensland and boasts many good public and private schools. It’s about 295kms to Brisbane which is the capital of Queensland. Hervey Bay weather is sub-tropical so it’s mostly warm all year round and will be good if you are trying to escape the cold weather.

Housing and schools are quite affordable which makes it an ideal location for a growing family or empty nesters who like an easy lifestyle. Services are plentiful and relatively cheaper than the bigger cities. There will always be something to do on the weekends from good food and restaurants to kayaking, diving windsurfing and jet skiing. It’s also close to the Fraser Island which is the largest sand island in the world. Demographics is very mixed so young families and the elderly.
