General Practitioner - Kingaroy

Practice Information:
A mixed billing solo practitioner practice with a special interest in Skin Cancer is looking for a general practitioner to join them. Principal doctor has completed a Masters Degree in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine. The practice provide cradle to grave services and look after patients in two nursing homes. They also provide care for the South Burnett Regional council workers and Swickers Pork Factory. There are two hospitals in town with visiting Specialist services. On site supervision is provided and support with experience in both ACRRM and RACGP training. 
 
Kingaroy serves a wide local area with the main industries being farming and mining. The town is 220km from Brisbane CBD and 150km from Toowoomba. Lots of local activities with wineries and many other facilities. Kingaroy is the main shopping town for the South Burnett district. There are 2 private schools and a public school +/15000 people in town. Swickers is the biggest pork factory in the southern hemisphere
 
General GP duties Hours Monday to Thursday 8-4.30pm and Fridays 8am to 2pm.
 
Qualifications and Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent
• Non VR or VR General Practitioner
• Must be able to do basic consultations
• Would be a benefit if you can do PAP smears
