GP/SMP Locums with experience in ED - WA

We are urgently seeking GP/SMP Locums with experience in Emergency Medicine for Harvey Hospital to cover unfilled shifts:

Tuesday 5th July  – Monday 11th July 0800hrs

Wednesday 13th July  - Tuesday 19th July 0800hrs

Monday 8th August   - Tuesday 9th August 0800hrs

Sunday 14th August – Tuesday 16th August 0800hrs

Sunday 21st August – Monday 22nd August 0800hrs

Clinical Requirement:

• General Practitioner - $2100 daily rate
• Registered with AHPRA as a Specialist with FRACGP or FACRRM or recognition by AHPRA of overseas qualification and registered with AHPRA as a Specialist GP
• Recent Australian/New Zealand experience in Emergency Medicine. Evidence of current competence in the management of life threatening emergencies.

Application Guidelines:

• Recent CV with doctor’s contact details – must contain doctor’s email and mobile phone number
• 2 recent references with mobile contact numbers
• Current WA Working with Children card and Criminal Record Screening certificate dated within 12 months
• AHPRA Registration
• Covid Vaccination Certificate
• Evidence of residency or visa status (if on a sponsored visa, this must be through WACHS or the agent)
• Current drivers licence / passport

Position details:

• 24 hour coverage - 10 hour shift – 0800 – 1800. On call 1800 – 0800.
• Accommodation provided
• Airfares - For interstate locums or those coming from regional WA locations, a return economy airfare foreach contract period will be reimbursed from Australian capital city of Hire to Perth up to a maximum of $1,000.00.
• Hire Car - The Hospital will reimburse up to a maximum of $30 per day towards the cost of a hire vehicle on production of receipt and invoice.
• Mileage - Where a WA based locum chooses to use their own vehicle to travel to the hospital the locum can submit a claim to be reimbursed on a per kilometre basis
