Living Without Boundaries is an NDIS registered Occupational Therapy provider seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in the sunny seaside of Williamstown. At the core of our business is a Person – Family Centered framework delivering clinic based and outreach services within the community and local neighborhoods, along with expert assessment and intervention to children, adolescents and their families.

We have clinics located in Williamstown and Eltham offering increased opportunity to work with clients across ages in the Northern Suburbs and between the two locations if desired.

Our newly opened Paediatric Clinic is located within the Medical precinct of Williamstown; As a valued team member, you will be working alongside Paediatricians, Psychologists, Dieticians and Speech Therapists who form part of our specialised network. This provides increased opportunities for professional development in areas of interest due to the broad nature of our scope of practice.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience or interest in working with Paediatrics; This includes Early Career Therapists. We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic OT to join our fast growing practice, deliverying evidence based therapy supports to children, families and young people.

In this role, you will be required to provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention and review of children, adolescents, and families who present with a variety of occupational challenges. You will have autonomy over your own clinical caseload with reasonable billable hours allowing adequate time for administrative requirements.

You will receive accelerated clinical 1:1 support in developing your skills within the Paediatric setting along with weekly clinical supervision and extensive opportunities to work with other disciplines for growth and career progression.

This role offers flexible options in how your hours are spread out across your working week, along with a staggered approach to building your caseload.

Essential Criteria

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
Current full registration with AHPRA
A desire to work within the Paediatric setting
Experience with working alongside families and significant others
Current open drivers licence
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Confidence in working independently and within a team environment

Desirable (not essential) Criteria

Experience working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme
Paediatric experience
BAMH Accreditation and Medicare Provider number
Experience within Private Practice and community settings
Experience running group based education and training
