Locum General Practitioner - Cardwell

GENERAL PRACTITIONER  LOCUM( 3 to 6 months)
 
Practice Information:
This long-established bulk billing medical practice sees approximately 300 patients per week and opportunities exist for full time or part time positions. GPs can walk into a full patient load and with an abundance of walk ins throughout the day. Doctors can enjoy flexible hours.
 
Practice Hours

Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.
No After Hours or No On Call unless you want to increase your billings.
There is a great working team of nursing staff reception, and admin to support the doctors, and skilled practice nurses run nurse led clinics and assist the doctors with care plans and health assessments.

The GPs are all very collegial and share their knowledge and skills working together in a great team environment.

Cardwell is the southern gateway to the Cassowary Coast region. They are also the gateway to Hinchinbrook Island, the biggest island national park in Australia and home of the Thorsborne Walking Trail.
Cardwell is situated 165km north of Townsville. It has a warm tropical climate and is a very popular spot for fishing enthusiasts.

• Location MM 5 - Increased Bulking Billing Incentives

• AHPRA Registration
• Vocationally Registered
• Full Australian working rights
• Mental Health Training
• Implanon Insertion and removal
• Skin Excisions and treatment
