Job Type: 
Locum - Part-Time (2-3 days per week).
 
Proposed Locum Period: 
Commence ASAP until 1st February 2026.
 
Practice Information:
Looking for temporary GP (opportunity for permanent) to join this friendly practice, 2-3 days a week. Interesting, broad range of work in this remote type of practice, (yet just across from Brisbane). Rural Incentives apply as we are classified MMM6. No - on call. Practice nurse support, Accredited with AGPAL; Allied Health services. 2 long term permanent GPs and 1 GP registrar.
 
Qualifications & Experience:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Previous GP experience

After Hours Requirements:  No
 
About Stradbroke Island: 
Straddie/Minjerribah is accessible by passenger ferry (25mins from Cleveland) or vehicle ferry (45mins). It offers stunning beaches, wildlife, surfing, fishing, camping, 4WD, bush walks in National Park and an abundance of local Aboriginal Arts and Culture. SIMC is at Point Lookout on the ocean side of the island. There are plenty of tourists who visit; there are 2 Queensland Ambulances and a Queensland health triage facility at Dunwich.
