Locum Physiotherapist

Return To Performance Physiotherapy is looking for a locum Physiotherapist to cover staff leave for up to 6 weeks between early September and mid-October.Return To Performance (RTP) Physiotherapy is an up and coming Physiotherapy practice located within The Human Mechanics (THM), an established gym in Bendigo, VIC (Epsom). RTP Physio provides assessment and treatment to local athletes, gym members, and the general public - working closely with the qualified strength and conditioning professionals at THM to provide optimised, timely rehabilitation options to everyone! The practice is located within the larger gym building, meaning that practitioners have quick and easy access to a huge, fully-equipped gym for both thorough assessment and treatment/exercise prescription of all clients.

Qualifications & experience

- Registered with AHPRA

- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred

- Prior experience working in private practice preferred

- Must be comfortable working as a solo practitioner (video or phone-based mentoring available if desired)Position details

- Locum position for up to 6 weeks to cover staff leave from early September through to mid-October.

- Full time vs part time negotiable

- Solo practitioner in a gym-based Physiotherapy practice

- Caseload of exclusively sports and musculoskeletal injuries (including WorkCover and TAC)

- Providing comprehensive Physiotherapy assessment and treatment with a focus on exercise, activity and client empowerment

- Formulation of client-focused, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to the individual client

- shared decision making with the client based on their individual situation

- Working closely with gym-based strength & conditioning staff when appropriate to modify and optimise client exercise programs
