Position OverviewProvide high-quality on-road clinical care for hospital transfers across the Riverland region. Assess patient conditions, administer treatment, and ensure safe transport of patients while maintaining documentation and clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities 1. Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and record vital data
- Respond promptly and prioritise patient needs
- Transport patients safely while monitoring care
- Administer treatment per protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients and professionals
- Maintain professional development and clinical readiness
ALS certification and advanced clinical skills
Experience in state/private ambulance services
Excellent decision-making in emergency situations
Physical fitness for patient handling
Police Check, Working with Children Check, valid driver's license
Personal AttributesIntegrity and confidentiality handling financial information
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proactive problem-solving and task prioritisation
QualificationsEnrolled Nurse, Paramedic, Ambulance Officer or Registered Nurse
Registration or eligibility with AHPRA (for RNs/Paramedics)
Performance MeasurementTimely response to hospital transfer taskings
Accurate documentation and treatment delivery
Compliance with medical transport protocols
