About the Opportunity

A mixed billing family oriented medical practice established for over 30 years in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne is needing more VR GPs to cater for increasing demand from new patients as a result of the growing number of young families who have settled in the Bayside suburbs, and patients who have been referred to the practice by word of mouth. Our client services a very loyal patient base with a solid reputation for delivering quality healthcare to the local community and surrounds consisting mostly of elderly patients who require care plans and health assessments; however this cohort is anticipated to change with the movement of a younger generation into the area. In addition to demand from new patients their Principal GP plans to reduce her hours giving rise to a patient handover to whoever is willing to take on the load. Renovations were complete in 2020 creating a modern, comfortable environment for staff with the addition of more consult and procedural rooms and new IT infrastructure to be able to meet the current and future needs of their clientele.

Essential Criteria:

• MBBS or equivalent
• Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration
• FRACGP qualified
• Medical Indemnity Insurance
