Work Hours: Full Time, 38hrs/week

Salary: $85K to $120K per annum plus super - depending on experience

Location: Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne

Roles & Responsibilities:

Our Client is looking for an amazing Speech Pathologist to join their team. They are a mobile business that visits the family’s home, schools and the community to provide Speech Therapy services to people across their entire lifespan with individuals living with a disability from children to adults. As a Speechie you will be responsible for:

• Assist with standardised speech pathology assessments.
• Complete reports concisely, documenting client strengths and challenges within initial assessments, NDIS review reports.
• Develop skills to create tailored therapy plans underpinned by strong clinical reasoning to meet client goals and provide home practice activities to strengthen progress made in therapy. Client profiles include Autism Spectrum Disorder (mainly), Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder, Attachment and Trauma etc.
• Liaise with parents, carers, educators and health professionals involved in the care of each client
• Complete up to date client case notes using an online system.
• Show exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with our clients, team and health professional alliances.

Essential Criteria: 

• A recognized degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Ability to accurately assess, plan and monitor intervention in the area of communication disorders.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption)
• National Police Check
• Drivers licence & access to a reliable vehicle
