Healthy Kids at Play is an allied health, multidisciplinary paediatric rehabilitation practice. We are located in Williams Landing (Melbourne VIC western suburbs), servicing a client base of predominantly NDIS participants. We cater for patients aged 0 to 16 with:

  • Musculoskeletal, neurological and chronic conditions
  • Learning, language, functional communication and global developmental delays
  • Atypical muscle tone/spasticity, gross/fine motor skills, functional mobility and gait
  • Insufficient self-care and everyday living skills
  • Varying health and nutritional needs



We have multiple roles available (new graduates encouraged to apply):

  • Speech Pathologist
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Positive Behaviour Practitioner

Full-time, part-time, casual and contractor options available. 


Skills and Experience

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Allied Health Professionals - must hold a Degree in your area of specialty .
  • Allied Health Assistants - minimum Certificate 3 or must be studying towards an allied health degree. 
  • Hold or have the ability to acquire before commencement the following:
  • Membership with AHPRA or your allied professional body in Australia, with provisional/full status.
  • Current Working with Children check
  • Current positive National Police check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Professional Indemnity and Malpractice Insurance
  • Ability to work independently, manage own time to achieve deadlines and work as an effective team member.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, professionals, other stakeholders and team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to identify own learning needs, strengths and limitations and seek out appropriate tools and resources to improve own skills and competencies as required.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to achieving quality outcomes and continuous quality improvement.
  • Ability to learn quickly, show initiative and problem solve with a positive attitude and growth mindset in a busy work setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to be change ready so that new processes and systems can be quickly integrated as we grow, improve and evolve as an organisation.

Desirable Selection Criteria

  • Experience working as an Allied Health Professional in a paediatric setting with children, young people and/or families and teachers.
  • Knowledge of, and experience in delivering allied health services to children with physical, intellectual, play and social skills problems, learning and literacy difficulties, difficulties with communication and interaction, speech and language delays, and/or those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Impairment and/or other developmental conditions.
