About the job
Join The Rehabilitation Specialists: Make a Meaningful Impact
The Rehabilitation Specialists offers a clinically focused, flexible alternative to large corporate providers. Our Occupational Therapists work across both NDIS and workplace rehabilitation, allowing for more meaningful, varied, and person-centred practice. With lower administrative burden, genuine flexibility, and the opportunity to shape a growing service, we prioritise clinician autonomy, professional development, and sustainable workloads.
This role offers a unique blend of NDIS work and workplace rehabilitation, supporting clients to build capacity, regain independence, and participate in everyday life and employment.

- The role involves autonomous practice within a supportive, collaborative team, with access to structured supervision, clinical leadership and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments, including ADL/IADL performance, environmental needs, and capacity evaluations
- Develop and implement individualised intervention plans aligned with participant goals and funding frameworks (NDIS, workplace schemes, private health insurance)

- Deliver capacity-building interventions using a strengths-based, neuroaffirming, and person-centred approach (e.g., therapy programs)
- Provide assistive technology prescription and minor environmental modification recommendations
- Collaborate with stakeholders including support coordinators, employers, insurers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support return-to-work planning, graded duties, and vocational rehabilitation strategies
- Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission and relevant legislative requirements
