Occupational Therapist/Clinical Product Specialist

As a member of our established and caring Home Care team, you will work to deliver the best clinical outcomes for our clients. You will develop ongoing partnerships with fellow clinicians to improve the social, physical and mental wellbeing of clients within the community. The position strikes a balance with managing a clinical referral caseload, as well as undertaking new business development opportunities.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical advice and recommendations on Assistive Technology equipment solutions to clinicians, clients and their families
  • Arrange product demonstrations and equipment trials with allied health professionals and clients within the community
  • Develop, manage and consolidate referral networks and account customer partnerships
  • Collaborate with fellow allied health professionals and clients by conducting clinical education and product in-service events

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration (desirable)
  • Demonstrated clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist working within equipment prescription
  • Demonstrated experience in providing education and support to health professionals, clients and their families
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a referral network
  • Demonstrated ability to perform to KPI expectations and drive positive outcomes

 

Required Licences and Compliance Checks

  • A full driver’s license
  • Current National Criminal records check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian citizenship or Australian permanent residency
  • Flu vaccination or Medical Exemption
  • Covid 19 vaccination (including booster) or Medical Exemption
