With more than 800 team members and 200 volunteers, we’re here to help people keep living the life they love, with reliable in-home and community care, a local team who knows the neighbourhood, and the kind of support that always has time for a cuppa and a chat.
And we look after our team the same way. We offer real support, meaningful recognition, and rewards that reflect the difference you make every day.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Not-for-profit salary packaging ($15,900 per annum)
- Flexible and hybrid working options
- Leave loading to make your time off even more rewarding
- Monthly clinical development sessions and a CPD allowance to support your learning goals
- Clear, supported career pathways and training to help you grow
- Full induction and orientation training
- Branded workwear
- Employee referral reward program - because good people know good people
- Fitness Passport - access to gyms and wellness facilities
- Employee Assistance Program - confidential support when you need it
- QLeave - portable long service leave that recognises long-term care work
What you will be doing
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll join a warm, skilled Allied Health team that helps people stay connected to the life they love, in the place they call home.
You’ll deliver recovery-based, community-focused care that’s practical, respectful, and tailored to each person’s needs. From prescribing equipment to recommending exercises, you’ll work alongside carers, families, and other professionals to make daily life easier and more fulfilling.
You’ll also build strong local partnerships, contribute to continuous improvement, and help shape services that feel personal.
In this role you’ll have the flexibility to plan your own schedule, with admin time at our Rockhampton office, from home, or a co-working space. We’re offering Full-Time or Part-Time Permanent employment, with the chance to make a real impact in the lives of older people in your local community.
You will Thrive in this role if
You are someone who sees the person behind the care plan. You’re calm under pressure, curious about better ways to help, and ready to make a real difference in your community.
You’ll also have:
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
- Experience with and strong interest in providing OT support to people who are ageing
- Confidence working independently and managing your time
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset, especially when working with a multidisciplinary team
- Confidence with technology and attention to detail when documenting care
- A valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle you will use for work
- First Aid, CPR, and a National Criminal History Check (or are happy to get)
