Required to work across RAH, TQEH, HRC and St Margaret's Hospitals.

Seeking enthusiastic AHP3 Senior Occupational Therapists who enjoys working in a vibrant team culture and working across multiple sites of CALHN, this is an exceptional opportunity to gain a diverse range of experiences in a highly rewarding role. You will be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention, assistive technology (AT) prescription and NDIS recommendations, and time limited case management to complex patients who are eligible to receive National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services. Applying your professional expertise, you will provide advice to management and contribute to CALHN strategic planning regarding NDIS participants. With extensive experience within this specialised area, you will have the ability to establish and create a new service, taking a leadership role in the ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement of CALHN services.

You must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA). Extensive experience in working with adults with a disability requiring NDIS assessment, intervention and coordination, in a multidisciplinary setting is essential, as is a proven track record providing seating and mobility assessments and solutions and providing specialised equipment (assistive technology). Thriving in a challenging environment with the ability to lead and foster team work, you will be able to think clearly, objectively and logically about problems, to identify issues and devise, implement and evaluate logical and rational solutions. In addition, you will possess a solid background and skills in patient/family-centred practice, community engagement and cultural competency.
