An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Grade 2 Occupational Therapist with excellent clinical skills and commitment to quality & patient centred care to join the inpatient teams at Northern Health.
This fixed term, full time role works across all of the inpatient Northern Health Campuses covering vacancies and staff leave. You are required to provide quality patient centred care in a variety of patient cohorts including acute, rehabilitation, geriatric evaluation and management and palliative care.
You will also be accountable for providing high quality, evidence based Occupational Therapy services through the application of competent clinical skills in assessment, intervention and discharge planning. Regular formal supervision is provided by a Grade 3 Occupational Therapist and the position is also supported by a Clinical Leader.
Accountable for providing evidence based, quality Occupational Therapy services in a variety of settings through the application of competent clinical skills in assessment, implementation of intervention plans, and complex discharge planning.
Maintain a high standard of professional behaviour.
Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and co-operatively with staff within the Northern Health Occupational Therapy service and multidisciplinary team.
Possess strong organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills.
