Roles & Responsibilities:

Our client is one of Australia’s leading Allied Health Companies. With studios’ across NSW, they are able to provide superior service and treatment options with full multi-disciplinary teams.

They are looking for Occupational Therapists with experience working within disability or with hospital rehab program experience. You will also have other clients including post orthopaedic post rehab, spinal and musculoskeletal clients.

As an Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for: 

• A primarily disability caseload, treating a broad spectrum of patient conditions and patient streams
• Encompass in-clinic gym and hydrotherapy pool and home appointments
• Provide therapy to clients in their home environment or local community
• Work in rehabilitation clinic which includes: Full start-of-the-art gym, Hydrotherapy pool with underwater treadmills
• Working with clients to develop a suitable and realistic treatment plan
• Skill building, housing modifications, report writing, and many other diverse cases to use all your OT skills
• Provide education and recommendations to clients and carers
• Display patience and able to effectively communicate with clients and build rapport

Essential Criteria:

• Full Registration with AHPRA
• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Must provide Working With Children Check & National police Check
• Ability to work in Australia
• Ability to build rapport with our clients and team
• Strong communication skills
• Current driver’s license and own vehicle are essential
• New graduates are welcome to apply but must demonstrate solid clinical experience
