Subcontract Position

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to support clients in improving their daily living and functional independence.
• Work with a diverse client base, including children, adults, and individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions.
• Implement therapy interventions that enhance mobility, self-care, fine motor skills, and sensory processing.
• Provide home, school, and workplace assessments and recommend modifications to improve accessibility and participation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and goal-oriented therapy.
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with professional standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with paediatric and/or adult clients in clinical or community settings.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or valid Police Check).
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
• ABN (Australian Business Number) for contractor work.
