Occupational Therapist

Are you an early to mid-career Allied Health professional looking to grow your skills working with young people?
The Link Youth Health Service is seeking a motivated Allied Health Clinician to provide evidence-based, short-term psychological interventions to young people aged 12-25 years.
This is a 0.8 FTE salaried role until June 2026, with the potential to extend pending funding. You’ll join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team supporting young people in Southern Tasmania, delivering face-to-face, telephone, and telehealth services.

As an Allied Health Clinician, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group sessions.
• Participate in clinical review meetings, care planning, and case conferences with GPs and other health professionals.
• Provide reports to referring GPs, maintain accurate electronic client records, and ensure compliance with professional and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through supervision, quality improvement activities, and, where applicable, student supervision.

 Essential Requirements:

• Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or other Allied Health discipline with eligibility for professional membership.
• Eligibility for Medicare registration as an approved provider.
• Experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Current Working with Children registration, National Police Check, driver’s license, and eligibility to work in Australia.
