Role Description

This is a contract-based hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist located in Perth, WA. The role involves a mix of in-person client sessions and remote work from home. Responsibilities include assessing client needs, designing personalized therapy plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and supporting individuals across a range of settings to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Collaboration with medical professionals, caregivers, and families will also be a critical aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Occupational Therapy, including a thorough understanding of rehabilitation techniques
• Knowledge of pediatric care and experience in working with children
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with medical practices and the ability to integrate therapy with broader healthcare goals
• Current registration with the relevant professional governing body
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
• Ability to work effectively in both in-person and virtual settings
• Prior experience in community-based therapy services is an advantage
