Full Job Description

This position is for a qualified Occupational Therapist who has a passion for supporting children and their families to reach their full potential. Depending on your interests there can be opportunities for adult therapy services in addition to the paediatric caseload. Your caseload will be working with children from birth to 18 with a range of disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability and ADHD.


Do you love working from home? Me too! With this role you will be based out of your own home and provide services to clients in the community (predominantly southern suburbs of Adelaide) and then finish your day at home. You will have full control over your working hours to meet the achievable KPI's of 4 clients per day. This role is for a full-time or part time employee. Want compressed hours? no problem just ask! You will be provided with an individual resources budget to purchase all of your therapeutic goodies.


As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist at Be Yourself OT, you will be responsible for providing holistic individualised therapeutic interventions for the child you are servicing. Liaising with parents, caregivers, school teachers and other providers will also be required in this role.

Some paediatric experience is preferred but all applicants are encouraged to apply.

What Are We looking For?

  • Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
  • Current Responding to Abuse and Neglect training certificate
  • Clinical Paediatric experience (desirable).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in providing assessment and intervention (regulation, sensory processing, motor skills, self-care skills, play) to children and adolescents
  • Experience or demonstrated knowledge of NDIS
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Current AHPRA membership
  • Valid drivers licence, car and comprehensive car insurance
  • Triple Covid-19 vaccinations


Job Type: Full-time or Part time options available
