Kawa Allied health & Wellness Centre is a growing multidisciplinary Allied Health team that consists of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Podiatry and Allied Health Assistants.

Kawa Allied Health & Wellness Centre is a not for profit service within Kurri Kurri Community Services located in Kurri Kurri NSW.
We provide community and centre-based services across the disability and aged care sectors under a variety of funding schemes including; the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), Home Care Packages (HCP) Medicare and private referrals.

We are focused on partnering with our clients to achieve their goals and support our Allied Health team to achieve theirs!

Benefits
We can offer flexible, family friendly position which includes supervision and CPD opportunities. Salary sacrificing packaging is also available. Salary negotiable given applicants experience. Experienced and new graduate therapists welcome to apply. Full-time and part-time roles will be considered.
Role Responsibilities:

• Completing Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions via NDIS, CHSP, HCP funding programs. Mixed caseload promoted.
• Completing functional and home environment assessments, assistive technology and home modifications recommendations and capacity building assessments and interventions.
• Working with client’s who have a range of diagnosis’ including physical, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions.
• Participation in group programs
• Being an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team

Role requirements:
• Current driver’s licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Occupational Therapy qualifications and current AHPRA registration
• Willingness to be an effective member of a multi-disciplinary Allied Health team as well as ability to work independently
• Commitment to professional development and quality management

Desired Skills
• Experience undertaking an NDIS caseload
• Experience undertaking supervision/team leader role
• Experience working with paediatric and youth client’s
