Occupational Therapist
Occupational therapists at Irabina work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment and intervention to individuals with ASD, and related disabilities, in 1:1 and group environments. A large component of this role is collaboration with the individual and their family/support network to develop relevant and appropriate individualised goals/programs that ensure the best possible outcomes for all.
We have full-time and part-time opportunities for new graduates to seasoned professionals. Salary + super + salary packaging.
Qualifications:- Relevant Qualifications in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent as approved by AHPRA)
- NDIS Workers Disability Check and Working with Children’s Check
The usual:
- Assessment and 1:1 sessions for individuals ranging from early intervention through to young adults.
- Ability to provide therapeutic support in person at clinic, via telehealth and in the community (e.g. schools/kinders).
- Ongoing collaboration with parents/carers and wider community stakeholders to develop goals and intervention plans that align with individual and family priorities, and that are developmentally appropriate and reflect best practice.
- Providing an excellent standard of written recording and reporting.
- Actively participating in organisational, multi-disciplinary and discipline-specific meetings and case discussions.
- Providing education and training to the wider community through workshops and seminars.
