Description

Are you an OT whose current role is not quite living up to your expectations?  Do you want to work for an organisation that gets you and your profession, and is authentically committed to delivering true people outcomes?

At MOIRA, we’re looking for exceptional OTs to join our growing team.  We are a mobile allied health service, delivering occupational therapy services within a person’s everyday environment to help them meet their goals.

We aim to provide allied health services that find out what matters to the people we support, not what’s the matter with them. And we provide realistic KPI’s, ongoing professional development and systems and processes that help our OT’s to be able to do with this…without getting burnt out themselves.

What we offer?

  • Flexible working arrangements for all roles including hybrid working and Everyday Flex
  • Attractive salary and salary packaging benefits including paid APHRA registration
  • $1000 allowance for Continuous Professional Development annually - included as part of your working week
  • Achievable KPIs and diverse caseload
  • Support & Mentorship – we have structures in place that will provide you with the support you need while allowing for autonomy
  • Ongoing internal training and career development - opportunities for professional and personal development including opportunities to mentor other OT's
  • Partnership with South Yarra Spine and Sports Medicine clinic for even greater opportunities to expand your OT experience
  • A comprehensive Health and Wellbeing Program – MOIRA Fit, including pro-active Health and Wellbeing Leave
  • Access to a range of MOIRA perks and benefits including the super-charge (your Super) scheme, Accelerate and Picasso leadership programs and Employee Assistance Program
  • Tools of the trade to keep you connected and effective – this includes a laptop and mobile phone
  • An innovative, values-driven working culture – 96% of our team members believe that working at MOIRA motivates them to go beyond what they would in a similar role

Every day is different, but your role will include:

  • Managing and delivering high-quality and evidence-informed services to a core caseload of clients within home-, clinic-, community- and school-based environments as beneficial to the client's strengths, needs and goals
  • Contributing to and shaping our practice approach with a stronger occupational, culturally sensitive and neurodiverse friendly lens in our documentation and our daily practice
  • Frequent clinical supervision from an OT mentor, aligned with your needs. We offer weekly supervision for new graduates, fortnightly supervision for clinicians with 2-5 years, and monthly supervision for clinicians with 5+ years of experience.  We also offer access to an academic OT mentor to deepen your expertise
  • Delivering a secondary caseload that may include occupation-focused intervention for an adult population, including home modifications, non-complex equipment prescription, and ADL support, as well as office-based ergonomic assessments
  • Numerous opportunities for ongoing career development, including a generous annual CPD budget, paid AHPRA registration, peer in-services, career progression, quality improvement projects, and later opportunities to grow caseloads to your passions and interests.
  • Working with our leadership team to create and drive exceptional service delivery with a focus on TRUE people outcomes. We encourage our staff to continually innovate and shape service delivery with the sole intention to improve our clients' lives, improve the clients' overall experience of therapy, and provide high-quality OT therapy without unnecessary constraints

A strong focus on workload, not caseload. Realistic KPIs that include documentation time so you don't have to do it after hours
