Who we are:

Occupation Matters is a mobile occupational therapy service, supporting adults (18+ years) with disabilities, injuries, and illness in northern and western Melbourne and via telehealth around Australia.

Our core business is comprehensive functional assessments for people with complex psychosocial disabilities and conditions under NDIS. We also provide physical and functional assessments for other insurers and Medicolegal purposes throughout Australia.

Additionally, we provide occupational therapy solutions for assistive technology, work transition and work participation, and occupational coaching for planning life transitions.

We are growing and would love to find the right people to contribute their skills set, and meet our diverse clients’ needs.

We offer new team members the following:
  • ‘Boutique’ service environment, specialising in your individual skills-set.
  • Above award wages based on your experience and skills-set.
  • Attractive contacting rates for those who want autonomy and can hit the ground running in NDIS functional assessments and Medicolegal reports.
  • Flexibility to work from home and/or our inviting office space, and flexible start/end times to help manage outside responsibilities.
  • Five weeks of annual leave per year.
  • Generous vehicle allowance and phone allowance, plus great systems that support client appointments, billing, HR, and administration.
  • Professional development budgets tailored to your career growth plan.

  • Realistic billing targets, focussed equally on client outcomes, customer relationships, and job satisfaction.
