About Bespoke OT

Bespoke OT is a boutique, values-led occupational therapy practice in Perth.

We work deeply with children, adults, families, and systems to create meaningful, lasting change, particularly in the areas of neurodiversity, emotional regulation, and complex developmental presentations.

Our approach is:

  • Neuroaffirming
  • Trauma-informed
  • Relationship-driven
  • Grounded in real-world function

We prioritise depth over volume and clinical integrity over KPIs.

About the Role

This is a senior paediatric role for an OT who wants to do paeds differently. This role requires deep clinical practice.

You’ll work with children, adolescents and youths into their 20s with:

  • Autism and ADHD
  • Complex psychosocial histories, behavioural and family presentations
  • Emotional regulation & executive functioning challenges
  • School refusal
  • Eating disorders

This is not a sit-in-a-clinic-all-day role.

You will:

  • Deliver therapy across home, school, and community environments (with optional clinic days)
  • Support emotional regulation, participation, routines, and independence
  • Work closely with parents, teachers, and support teams
  • Build long-term, meaningful therapeutic relationships
  • Contribute to functional assessments and reporting where required

Who This Role Suits

You are a paediatric OT who:

  • Thinks beyond sensory checklists and worksheets
  • Understands behaviour as communication
  • Is comfortable working with family systems and complexity
  • Values connection, flexibility, and real-life impact
  • Wants to slow down and do high-quality, meaningful work

What’s on Offer

  • Highly competitive remuneration (aligned with government roles; but much more flexible)
  • Full-time caseload ready (4 days/week negotiable)
  • Genuine flexibility (WFH & clinic options, life-first approach)
  • Strong administrative support
  • Regular, meaningful supervision and mentoring
  • Targeted, evidence-based professional development
  • Opportunity to grow into leadership or develop niche areas
  • A warm, down-to-earth, and supportive team culture
  • No unrealistic KPIs

Requirements

  • Occupational Therapy degree + AHPRA registration + full rights to live and work in Australia
  • Experience in paediatric OT required (this role is not suitable for early career OTs due to the complexities of families we see)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • WWCC & NDIS Screening Check

Desirable:

  • Experience in neurodiversity-affirming practice
  • Demonstrable autonomy in managing a caseload
  • Training in emotional regulation, mental health first aid, or trauma-informed care
  • NDIS experience
