About the job

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

New Graduate | Early Career | Senior | Leadership Opportunities

📍 Windsor, NSW (adjacent to Windsor Station)

The Daisy Clinic is the largest specialist paediatric clinic in the Hawkesbury region. Our work is guided by three core values: Compassion. Collaboration. Excellence.

We believe exceptional outcomes for children and families begin with clinicians who feel supported, valued, and able to work sustainably. Our clinic is built around a clinician care model that prioritises wellbeing, professional growth, and high-quality care, because when clinicians are cared for, children and families benefit.

We are seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Windsor, NSW.

Our Clinician Care Model

A full-time clinical workload at The Daisy Clinic is intentionally structured as 38 hours per week, comprising:

  • 25 hours face-to-face clinical work
  • 10 hours administration
  • 3 hours dedicated to the 3R’s

The 3R’s are the cornerstones of our clinician care model, reflecting how we support our team to do meaningful, sustainable work:

  • Reflection – case review, collaboration, peer consultation, and supervision
  • Refinement – professional development, supervision, and skill development
  • Renewal – protected time supporting wellbeing, boundaries, and the right to disconnect

These hours are protected and intentional, recognising that excellent care requires thinking time, learning time, and rest.

Clinic Hours & Shift Structure

We operate a structured two-shift model to support balance and predictability.

  • Clinic hours: Monday–Thursday: 7:00 am – 8:00 pm | Friday & Saturday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Shift options:
  • Morning: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Afternoon / evening: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Each shift includes 5 hours of face-to-face service delivery (5 clients). Clinicians work a mix of shifts across the week, aligned with preferences, while maintaining a 25-hour face-to-face allocation.

Clinical Pathways at The Daisy Clinic

At The Daisy Clinic, our clinical roles sit within a clinic-wide clinical care model designed to support clinicians at every stage of their professional journey.

Our clinical pathways apply across all disciplines, not just Occupational Therapy. They are intentionally structured to recognise that clinicians require different levels of support, guidance, and autonomy as they grow and that independence should be earned, supported, and sustained, not rushed.

The pathways are designed to:

  • Build on the individual strengths of each clinician
  • Provide high levels of support for newer clinicians
  • Gradually release responsibility and increase autonomy over time
  • Support clinicians to grow into advanced, senior, and leadership roles in a way that is safe, ethical, and sustainable

While this role is for an Occupational Therapist, you will be working within this broader multidisciplinary clinical care framework.
