Paediatric Speech Pathologist - Permanent Part time Grade 2
Would you like to work in a private paediatric setting. Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre at Tasma House is seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team.
The role will include assessing and treating children with speech and language disorders as well as focusing on Oromotor dysfunction to assist swallowing and feeding issues. Experience in social skills development highly beneficial.
The applicant must demonstrate a desire to work with children and their families in a private practice setting and will have a demonstrated working background in Paediatrics.
The applicant will need to demonstrate an understanding of evidence based Speech pathology.
The days you will be required to work are:
Mondays and Wednesdays

Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre is a well establish Private Clinic for children. We have an outstanding reputation in the community and service clients Melbourne wide. We are based in Moonee Ponds.
We are seeking an Experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team on a permanent part time basis.
Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre provides a broad range of services to babies, children and adolescents aged 0-18 years old that have a neurological disability, gross motor delay, genetic disorders, autism and children with general paediatric conditions.
Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre has a new custom built clinic with excellent facilities for children of all abilities. It comprises of 3 standard rooms, one large gym and an upstairs meeting room.
The practice has a light filled reception area and is co located with 2 Occupational Therapist, 4 Allied Health Assistants and 4 Physiotherapists. We have a collaborative team approach and provide hands on very high quality therapy programs. Therapists are supported by highly skilled administrative staff.
Excellent remuneration according to experience. Sizeable budget provided for ongoing skills development.
Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre - Tasma House, is located in the heart of Moonee Ponds close to great shopping, cafes and restaurants. We are accessible by all forms of public transport and have parking on site and street parking.
- Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology
- Membership of the Speech Pathologists Australia, preferred
- Professional Indemnity and public liability insurance
- Registration with APHRA
- Management of a case load; prioritorise workload.
- Demonstrated knowledge in evidence based practice.
- Ability to build rapport with clientele and pleasant interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills with all team members
- Must have working with children check and police check.
- Drivers license and own car essential
