Description

As a Mobile Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to children and their families in home and community settings across Brisbane. This is a contract/part-time opportunity (1–2 days per week) with potential to increase hours or transition into a full-time role, offering excellent flexibility to support work–life balance.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s physical, functional, and developmental needs
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on each child’s individual goals
• Deliver hands-on physiotherapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, motor skill development, and assistive device recommendations
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation to support continuity of care
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in paediatric physiotherapy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in paediatric physiotherapy, ideally within home or community settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent problem-solving and clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to adapt treatment plans to individual needs
• Proficiency with mobile technology and electronic record systems
• Experience with assistive technology and report writing for third-party providers (e.g., NDIS)
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
