Pharmacy Technician

About the role

An opportunity has become available for a Pharmacy Technician to undertake the inventory control and procurement role of the pharmacy, experience in inventory control is highly regarded but not essential, full training will be provided to the right applicant.

This part time role will require you to work every Monday 9am - 5pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day inventory control, processing imprest orders, and sourcing of medication. You will be working with a large supportive pharmacy team as well as external clients. 

Key responsibilities

• Day-to-day inventory control
• Invoicing and receipting medication orders
• Adhere to the company purchasing policy and brand compliance
• Proactively respond to pharmacy staff and client queries and issues
• Oversee and participate in stocktake activities
• Assist the Pharmacist to prepare medication when required

You must have

• Advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of medical staff
• A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience with iPharmacy is highly desirable, however, full training will be provided
• Current Covid-19 vaccinations as per Public Health Orders
