Where you will be working

 

Hay Hospital is a 28-bed facility, with 12 acute beds, 16 aged care beds and a level two Emergency Department. A range of primary health care services are also provided at Hay Hospital including community nursing, early childhood nursing, mental health, palliative care, physiotherapy, speech therapy, dietetics and PANOC.

What you will be doing

 

This allied health professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team providing, planning and delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to patients/ clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) in order to support management of their health needs and to promote wellness.
 
The Level 3 Senior Clinical Physiotherapist is responsible for providing a range of high-level assessment, therapeutic and preventative physiotherapy services in their identified speciality area, within scope, according to relevant models of care and priorities. The clinician is able to demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and operate with minimal direct clinical supervision.

  • This is a Maternity Leave Relief Contract. The successful applicant will be a temporary replacement employee, covering a permanent employee on maternity leave for a fixed term or until the employee elects to return to duty, whichever occurs first.
